Japanese notes – learn Japanese with NHK easy

Hello Japanese learners~πŸ’–Β Send some love before I even start~πŸ˜‰

Well I am still going through dictionary form… you might think I am really learning it in a good way (and BTW information on dictionary form please click here), but actually I am learning a bit slower because these days I am also learning from easy Japanese news!πŸ˜πŸ€“Β Not to say that I am able to read complicated stuff in Japanese already but this website is ideal for beginners!

Website: http://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/

If you search google, it will tell you below – this website is designed to be easy to understand for primary school/ middle school students and foreigners living in Japan. Honestly I would be happy to be able to speak Japanese at primary school level…πŸ˜€

My strategy is to copy 1 piece of news every day. I have started for almost a week ago so I have around 5 pages of news (skipped 2 days for whatever reason😡). Trying to remember 3-4 words/ phrases from the article every day, I can see immediate improvement on my ability to talk last week in my class…Β  well of course it might just be because I had a good sleep the night before…πŸ˜…

There is also a play function to read the news for you in a slow way. Again very helpful function. The news is only less than 2 mins and I will always listen to the news first before anything and try to make sense out of it (which fails in most instances….πŸ’”) Then after I have copied the news, I will play the news again and this time it becomes easier to understand. I will also read the news after I listen to the news twice.

I know it sounds a lot of efforts and it is… but I want to do it for at least 1 month and see how it improves my Japanese. I will keep you guys posted!😘

Hope it helps and heads up – I will update this Friday!Β
