Here is a problem – now my food vlogs start out numbering the travel ones and I cannot hide it anymore that I am actually a foodie!😂😅
So this week let’s try something special – we are going to a Sichuan restaurant and try some (REALLY) spicy rice noodle. Video length: 1m51s.
About the restaurant –
- Name: Tina’s noodle kitchen (
don’t ask me who is Tina; I don’t know….)
- Location: 237 Swanston St, Melbourne VIC 3000
- Price: ~ 15 AUD pp
I go to this place at least once or twice a month… it’s quite consistent in terms of its good food and poor service. 😆
The noodle bowl comes with a quite decent serve of meat, soup and noodle, with lots of chilli… so make sure you use the tissue paper wisely as you will soon use it up (by wiping all over the face while eating~🌶🌶). I would also recommend a hard boiled egg in the soup – just to make it complete!🍤 Note that they do have crazy options like bloody curd, intestine, kidney etc… They are all common/ popular Chinese dishes but I haven’t tried them. Let me know in the comment if you did and how was it?🦋
Saying that though, don’t have high expectation on the service there. 9 out of 10 times I end up with sharing the table with strangers or talking to confused staff.😕 This week it’s a bit dramatic as my fish noodle came almost 15 mins after the beef one (even though we ordered together). No idea how it can be managed so inefficiently…😳
Hope you guys are not bored with my food Vlog yet (please say no~~✨). I promise next week it will be a travel one, so stay tuned! XOXO
