I am currently on my flight from Sydney to Melbourne so this week/ next week’s update will be around Sydney! 🌟🙆
Video length: 1:35s – please check and support my channel 🍎🍒🍓🍈
Takoyaki is definitely one of my favourite foods and I ate it so many times last time when I travelled to Japan. For those who don’t know what it is – it’s basically dumpling like balls with a piece of octopus in there.🐙🙀 These are some pics from my Osaka trip.
Surprisingly there is a Takoyaki stand in Sydney too!😙😙😙 Below are the details. There should be other stands around city too but this is the one I have visited most.
- Place: Chatswood night market
- Time: 10:00AM ~ 21:00PM, Thu/ Fri
- Menu: Octopus/ prawn/ crab/ veg balls (comes in 8) + Okonomiyaki
- Company website: http://colotako.com
I have only tried the octopus ones honestly (because I am old school 😂🙃🍄🍭) and really loved it! They have the loyalty card which gives you one serve free after 10 stamps and I only need to collect another 2 more to get 8 free balls. Took me a long time as now I don’t visit Sydney that much…😢😢😢
Anyway, coming back to the food. Those octopus balls are all fresh cooked and NOT deep fried, which is why I love them. They are topped up with generous volume of bonito flakes (dried fish flakes) and contain a big piece of octopus… hmm I don’t know how to describe as I am making it sound a bit creepy and disgusting.🖖🤦♀️ Maybe check out my video here and you will understand better…. One small tip – if you prefer to sit and eat, there is a food court in Westfield just cross the road. Normally Mr. Apple and I go there and buy some other food + milk tea. That would make me so happy!❤️🌈🎈
BTW I am travelling at sunset time today so the view is absolutely beautiful!
